President of Tatarstan has taken part in a ceremony of opening a new facility of Rosprirodnadzor in Nizhnekamsk

On 2 February during his working trip to Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening a new building of the Volga-Kama inter-regional Department of Rosprirodnadzor (The Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service), which also houses a branch laboratory of the Center of laboratory tests and technical measurements in Tatarstan. The employees of the Service were also handed in 120 new company cars. 

The new facilities will help the state inspectors of the Service and lab employees increase efficiency of their response to emergency situations taking into consideration the specific characteristics of the Nizhnekamsk industrial zone.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov outlined that favorable environment was one of the most important constituents of the comfortable living for people “Our main task is to improve the life quality of our residents And the republic is doing a lot in this sphere as all projects being implemented here pass the strictest ecological expertise”, - he said. 

He expressed his gratitude to the administration of Rosprirodnadzor for joint work and added: “It is very important to have a professional team reacting proactively. I would like to wish you that this department and the lab work for the good of people”. 

The Head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova, who also took part in the ceremony, said: “As Nizhnekamsk is a powerful industrial cluster, we understand quite well how its residents need clear information and understanding what ecological environment they are living in. I am extremely grateful to the administration of the republic for their support, we can see how Tatarstan takes care of its residents “. 

Later the same day Minnikhanov and Radionova took part in an expanded meeting of the Volga-Kama inter-regional Department of Rosprirodnadzor that discussed results of the work of the department in 2021 and tasks for 2022.
