A meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Aleksander Sergeev takes place

On February 1, during his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Aleksander Sergeev, who arrived to visit the production facilities of KAMAZ Automaker and discuss the prospects for cooperation.

Minnikhanov and Sergeev discussed issues of further cooperation, the use of scientific developments of the Russian Academy of Sciences for industry and mechanical engineering, and touched upon other topical issues. They also discussed the concept of creating an Academic Science Centre (“Academgorodok”) in Tatarstan. The idea of ​​establishing a modern centre of academic science in the republic was expressed in 2020, during the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Kazan Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
