Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates KAMAZ-Master team on their brilliant victory at Dakar-2022 rally

On January 28, in the Kazan Kremlin, at a solemn ceremony of honoring the KAMAZ-Master team, the winners of Dakar-2022 rally marathon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the team on their another brilliant, convincing and well-deserved victory and emphasized that the highest sportsmanship, well-coordinated team spirit and unbending belief in victory led the team to the 19th title of winners.

The route of the rally-marathon across the sands of Saudi Arabia was not an easy test for all participants of the competition. However, due to the coordinated actions of all team members you managed to show the best result – team from Tatarstan took all the first four places in the category of trucks, Minnikhanov addressed the team members.

Tatarstan President also emphasized that today KAMAZ is a stronghold of engineering, a brand of Tatarstan, known throughout the world and respected by the global motorsport community.

The KAMAZ-master ream is an example for young people involved in motor sport, it glorifies car sport of Tatarstan and Russia in the world arena. He thanked all members of the team, the senior managers of the automaker for creating excellent conditions for achieving the set tasks and the motor sports federation of the republic and the team sponsors - for their support. He addressed special words of appreciation to the fans, families and friends, who supported the athletes. «Your victory in the current difficult conditions is a great reason for joy for all Tatarstan residents!» Tatarstan President addressed team members.
