22.01.2022

On 22 January Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference with all municipalities of the republic on the situation with the agricultural land use. Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the regional Minister of the Land and Property Regulations Fanil Agliullin also took part in the meeting.

Reporting about the situation, Agliullin said that according to the State Register there are more than 4m 600 thousand hectares of agricultural lands in the republic, while the situation for 2021 showed that more than 113 thousand hectares of those lands were not used. However 45 hectares of them have already been recovered into use, he added.

The Minister said that most of the unused land was the private property in eight regions of the republic and bringing them back into circulation is one of the priorities both for federal, regional and municipal bodies and the main  tool of working with such owners is the State Land Surveillance agency.

Agliullin said that in 2021 the local budgets received 1.2 m roubles of fines imposed by the surveillance organizations.

He also touched the issue of non-used land plots included into the boundaries of settlements because of the absence of regulatory city-building and land surveying documentation, while such documents could facilitate rational use of territories including their use for agricultural purposes and increasing the plots investments attractiveness.
