Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: as many as 66 schools will be overhauled by the state program Development of Education” in 2022

Speaking about implementation of the regional programs of construction and capital overhaul of social-cultural facilities, national and state programs at a videoconference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with the participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the First Deputy Minister of Construction of the republic Aleksey Frolov said, that 13 ministries and departments were taking part in preparation of 44 regional programs, 22 of which have been approved already.

He said that all contracts concerning 104 facilities included in six national projects have been signed and the plan is to conclude 37 facilities by the national project “Housing and urban environment”. 

Construction of facilities which started in 2021 by the “Ecology” project continues, and 49 facilities will be constructed, reconstructed and overhauled by the “Healthcare” project, the Deputy Minister said. It is also planned to build, reconstruct and overhaul 11 facilities by the “Culture” project and one kindergarten by the “Demography” project in Kazan.

In addition to national projects, the Ministry is also involved in implementation of six state programs the largest of which is “The Development of Education”, and 66 schools will undergo overhaul by this program in 2022.

Work on 66 facilities is included into measures of comprehensive development of rural territories.

As many as 14 hydraulic facilities will be overhauled in water bodies of the republic along with the bank stabilization of the Kuybyshev Reservoir in the region of Kamskoye Ustye.

The amount of financing for overhauling 769 residential houses with the total area of 4.7 square meters is 6bn 441m roubles. It is also planned to commission 2m 755 thousand square meeting of accommodation in 2022, Frolov said.

He concluded that 4 programs of providing housing for separate categories of citizens will be implemented in 2022.and 679 families including 600 orphans eligible for this program have been defined.
