Tatarstan Presdient has given an errand to step up snow removal monitoring

At a traditional meeting in the Government House of the republic on 22 January, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to heads of regions and cities to step up snow removal monitoring.

“The current week was rich in precipitations and snowfalls caused worsening of road situation both on highways and in the cities. The number of complaints from residents in social media has grown 5 time and more than 50% of them are related to snow removal” – Minnikhanov stated.

“I understand that first of all we are paying attention to main highways but there are many complaints related to roads in yards of residential houses.  School routes, ensuring the passage for emergency vehicles should be monitored. In case of need the Transport Ministry must use special vehicles possessed by road construction companies. They should be also involved,” the President stressed.
