A special Fund for support of small and medium enterprises in state order system will be created in Tatarstan.

Till the end of 2008 2,6 million RUR will be allotted from republic and federal budget for construction of “Park in the sphere of high technologies” in Tatarstan. RT Head of Committee on Development of small and medium enterprises Timur Shagivaleev informed about it today in RT Cabinet.

“Park in the sphere of high technologies” consists of 2 parts: “IT Park” (Kazan, 50, Peterburgskaya st.) and “Himgrad” (is located on the territory of plant “Tasma”).

As Timur Shagivaleev informed, earlier 596 million RUR were allotted from federal budget for construction of this park, later additional 404 million RUR were allotted.
RT Head of Committee on Development of small and medium enterprises also informed that within 1st stage of federal contest held by Ministry of economic development of Russia, Tatarstan will receive 166 million RUR for development of small and medium enterprises. The same sum will be allotted from republic budget (on terms of co-financing).

So, it’s planned to spend 332 million RUR in Tatarstan for support of small enterprises in priority industrial branches; subsidize expenses for technological connection to networks for small enterprises (30 % from expenses for connection up to 100 Kwt, - all spheres except for wholesale and retail trade); realization of the program “Quick legal assistance” for businessmen; development of Kamsky industrial park “Master”.

According to Timur Shagivaleev words small enterprises in Republic will have the possibility to get the grant (1 million RUR) on contest basis. To get it, businessmen should present their projects of production development in priority industrial branches such as oil chemistry, chemistry, machine building, woodwork, agriculture and industrial complex.

Acceptance of applications for contest has begun and will continue till September, 15. For today Grant fund is 100 million RUR.
Besides, it was decided to create the so-called “Revolver Fund” in Tatarstan to support participation of small and medium enterprises in state order system of the Republic of Tatarstan. The decision was made on August, 18 at the meeting concerning state support of RT small enterprises that was held by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.
The budget of “Revolver Fund” is 50 million RUR. Funds will be allotted from republic budget.
