Tatarstan President meets CEO of Tupolev Company Vadim Korolev

On December 15, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and CEO of Tupolev Company Vadim Korolev discussed issues of further strategic development of the Kazan Aircraft Plant named after Gorbunov - a branch of Tupolev Company, in particular, a large-scale project on the resumption of serial production of Tu-160, modernization of production areas and the implementation of state contracts.

In September 2021, at a board meeting, Tatarstan President was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tupolev Company. 

Tupolev Company is a leading Russian enterprise in the design, production and after-sales support of missile carriers and special-purpose aircraft, and is the head enterprise of the United Aircraft Corporation’s strategic and special aviation branch, which includes Kazan Aircraft Plant named after Gorbunov.
