Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov

On December 14, in Saint Petersburg, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov.

Minnikhanov thanked Beglov for his attention and support of the activities of Tatar public organizations. “Together, we established the first cultural centre for the large Tatar community of St. Petersburg. Today it numbers 31,000 people,” Tatarstan President said.

Beglov emphasized the importance of interregional cooperation. This year 25 years have passed since the issuance of the Decree on the establishment of a plenipotentiary representative office of Tatarstan in Saint Petersburg.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation with KAMAZ Automaker, the auto giant supplies buses to St. Petersburg.
