On May 29 at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Abdulla Abbas, Doctor of biology, professor of the Institute of biology and biotechnologies (Xinjiang University, China), academician of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, discussed prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and Chinese scientists.

The Chinese delegation led by Abdulla Abbas is visiting Kazan on May 27-30. Members of the delegation have held several meetings dedicated to development of joint projects in the sphere of microbiology, biology and pharmacology and at the meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov Abdulla Abbas told about results of the visit.
