On November 15, at the IT Park in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development to discuss issues of digital transformation in the power engineering sector.
Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov noted that the Association is considering interesting digitalization projects in various areas.
Tatarstan President reminded that the republic hosted the Kazan Digital Week forum, which was held under the auspices of the Government of the Russian Federation, this September. It showed a high interest of participants in digital transformation in this site and received high marks from its guests. Minnikhanov thanked the Association for organizing and holding the forum.
“We have announced the next year as the Year of Digitalization. We will face new challenges and tasks. I am sure that the Association will consider breakthrough projects for our republic at its meetings,” Minnikhanov said.
He pointed out that the digitalization in the power engineering sector is a trending topic for Tatarstan.
In his turn, Chairman of the Council of the Association for the Promotion of Digital Development Rifkat Minnikhanov noted that digitalization of the power engineering sector will contribute to the development of smart and safe city systems.
