Rustam Minnikhanov: Sber Group is a leader in innovation today

On November 15, at the Bank of Tatarstan branch, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice President, Chairman of Volgo-Vyatka Bank of Sberbank Petr Koltypin took part in a ceremony dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Sberbank.

Minnikhanov noted that in 180 years Sberbank has grown from one cash register with a staff of 7 people to a huge ecosystem that provides services to millions of people. “Sberbank is a leader in innovation today, implementing the most modern solutions in the banking sector, digitalization, artificial intelligence,” Tatarstan President stressed.

He thanked the leadership of the Sberbank group for the implementation of projects in the republic. “We have a number of successful examples of the introduction of innovative practices and services of the bank,” Minnikhanov went on to say.

Tatarstan President congratulated the bank's employees on the anniversary and wished them further successful development.

Then,  Minnikhanov handed in a number of state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan.
