On Novermber 10, at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an event on the occasion of the Day of the Internal Affairs Officer of the Russian Federation.

Congratulating the participants of the event on the Day of the Internal Affairs Officer of the Russian Federation, Minnikhanov emphasized that this is a holiday for those who are not used to hiding behind others. “It is always with special pleasure that I congratulate you on your holiday, you have dedicated your life to an important and responsible career - protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens, public order, and security. Police service is a difficult, dangerous, but noble work. You always fulfill your duty with honor and dignity,” Minnikhanov said.

Tatarstan President reminded that today employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan are monitoring compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements in the context of the prevention of coronavirus infection. In addition, the priority tasks are still the fight against crime and drug trafficking.

Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that the employees of the internal affairs officers will continue to work effectively and achieve high results. The leadership of the republic will continue to contribute to improving the facilities of the department and to addressing social issues, he went on to say.

State awards of the Republic of Tatarstan and departmental awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were handed in at the event.
