Rustam Minnikhanov meets Russian Minister of Energy Nikolai Shulginov

On November 9, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Russian Minister of Energy Nikolai Shulginov.

The parties discussed the issues of operation of the fuel and energy complex of the region and the prospects for further development.

They also considered the advisability of increasing the filling level of the Nizhnekamsk reservoir to increase the loading of the Nizhnekamsk hydroelectric power plant.

Shulginov said that the priority is to provide reliable electricity to Tatarstan consumers, especially during peak periods in autumn and winter.
