According to RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov average crop capacity in republic makes 35 and more centners per hectare.

Today Head of RT Government Rustam Minnikhanov observed farms and fields of Mamadyshsky, Elabuzhsky, Menzelinsky and Aktanyshsky municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

He was accompanied by RT Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, heads of municipal districts and farms.
After the flight over fields Rustam Minnikhanov answered journalists’ questions. He told that RT President Mintimer Shaimiev has set the task to use every hour in good weather for harvesting.

“According to forecasts we have 10 days of good weather, that’s why it’s necessary to mobilize for realizing this task”, - told Rustam Minnikhanov. Under republic Government there’s a special staff that coordinates all actions; tasks are also set for heads of municipal establishments”.

RT Prime Minister pointed out that districts have all necessary equipment (specialized agriculture equipment, fuel) for harvesting of grain crops and leguminous plants.
“All districts that we’ve visited today meet their standards of combines’ production capacity,- told Rustam Minnikhanov. Now the average crop capacity in republic makes 35 and more centners per hectare.

“This year lets us have record figures in harvesting, but we need good weather conditions, and all people have to join in the work, - told Head of RT Government.
For August, 12 in Mamadyshsky municipal district load for 1 combine is 411 hectares, Elabuzhsky – 452, Menzelinsky – 583, Aktanyshsky – 254 (average in republic – 365).

As for labour supply, Rustam Minnikhanov told that today it should be highly skilled specialists. We have to attract well-educated staff – he said. – Agriculture equipment is expensive, every machine and combine costs about 200-300 thousand dollars, it can not be entrusted to anybody.

Farmers came to conclusion that combiner has to be a constant person, not to be a seasonal worker.
According to RT Prime Minister there’re special programs in republic which help to keep young specialists in rural areas.
