Farid Mukhametshin met Astrakhan oblast Governor Alexandr Zhilkin

Today Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin on his working trip to Astrakhan oblast met Astrakhan Governor Alexandr Zhilkin.

The meeting took place in the Governor’s residence. The sides discussed prospects of interregional cooperation in various spheres. According to Alexandr Zhilkin, Astrakhan’s connections with the Republic of Tatarstan have been progressing over the last two decades. The Governor thanked the Tatarstan leadership for supporting the local Tatar community.

Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan described the preparation to the summer Universiade in Kazan, which is to start in just a month, construction scale of sport and infrastructure objects for the World Student Games.
