Agreement about cooperation between RT Government and United Aircraft Corporation to allow producing 30 airplanes Ту-214

Agreement about cooperation between RT Cabinet, “United Aircraft Corporation” JSC and Gorbunov KAPO was signed today in Kazan within scientific-practical conference “Modern technologies – the key point in revival of domestic aircraft building”.

The document was signed by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of “United Aircraft Corporation” (OAK) Aleksey Fedorov.

The subject of this agreement is organization of events to attract additional financing for extension of current activity of Gorbunov KAPO, realization of signed contracts, investments to technical re-equipment and re-organization of business processes and information infrastructure of enterprise.

According to Aleksey Fedorov the joint plan of OAK and Gorbunov KAPO development will allow increasing of enterprise activity volume and producing 30 airplanes Ту-214 for state and commercial clients in 2008-2011. It will increase the growth of earnings for 5-7 times and allow producing of Ту-332 in 2011.
