Tatarstan President attends a military parade to mark the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan

On September 28, during his working visit to Ashkhabat, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a military parade to mark the 30 anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan.

The country’s leader Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov personally saluted the parade. Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of National Security, the State Border Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan marched in the parade. Various types of combat aircraft and warships featured the festive show.

A festive procession of representatives of labor collectives, the regions of Turkmenistan, athletes and cultural workers took place after the military parade.
