Tatarstan President takes part in the opening ceremony of a new school in the Kazan residential complex "Salavat Kupere”

On September 1, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in an opening ceremony of a new school in the Kazan residential complex “Salavat Kupere”. The multidisciplinary lyceum «Bionica» is designed for 1,224 students and equipped with modern classes, two swimming pools and two sports halls, a library, an assembly hall and developed adjacent areas.

Minnikhanov congratulated students, parents and teachers on the start of the new school year.

Tatarstan President looked around classrooms, including engineering and technology rooms, visited the school cafeteria, coworking zones and got acquainted with the safety system of the school. During his visit to the residential complex, Minnikhanov got acquainted with the construction process of the park - the first public space on the territory of the microdistrict. The fully commissioning of the facility is scheduled for next year.
