Rustam Minnikhanov meets Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia at KAMAZ Automaker

On August 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Naberezhnye Chelny to meet Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of the Consequences of Natural Disasters Andrey Gurovich, who headed a large delegation of Russian Ministry of Emergencies, which visited KAMAZ technical research centre.

The visit is aimed at interacting the Ministry and the KAMAZ in manufacturing fire and rescue equipment of a new generation and holding a number of meetings with top managers of the company on various issues of further cooperation.

Minnikhanov and Gurovich looked around the scientific and technical centre of the company, where they got acquainted with a new model range of «KAMAZ» cars, including samples of new firefighting and rescue equipment and unmanned vehicles.

Later on the same day, Tatarstan President and Russian Deputy Minister of Emergencies went to the Virage motor-racing track, where they met the Kamaz-master team and drove racing trucks.

Then, they held a meeting to discuss further areas of cooperation.
