Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov discuss the Expansion of trade and economic relations

On July 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held an online meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov.

Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan attaches great importance to the development of interaction with Uzbekistan under the Russian-Uzbek relations. “We are sincerely glad to expand our mutually beneficial relations. For our part, I assure you for our full support,” Tatarstan President said.

In his turn, Umurzakov congratulated Minnikhanov and all Tatarstan citizens on Eid al-Adha.

At the online meeting, representatives of companies from Tatarstan and Uzbekistan announced the most promising areas for further cooperation.

Senior executives of Tatneft Oil Company, Himgrad, Kazan Motor-Building Production Association, KAMAZ Automaker, Eidos-Medicine Company, IED-HOLDING Engineering Company, Innopolis Special Economic and a number of other organizations participated in the meeting from Tatarstan.
