Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

On June 24, during his working visit to Ankara, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“Our contacts give a good impetus to the development of Tatarstan-Turkish trade, economic and investment cooperation aimed at strengthening relations between Russia and Turkey.

We are aimed at being an efficient link between our states. It is important that the parties are committed to the further development of contacts,” Minnikhanov said.

Turkey is one of the leading foreign partners of Tatarstan. In 2020, the trade turnover exceeded 360 million US dollars. Turkish companies invested about 2 billion US dollars in the republic.
