On May 6 Chairman of Russian Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepanshin, who came to Kazan with a working visit, went to see several Universiade objects, including the stadium “Kazan-Arena” under construction, and the Aquatics Palace. He was accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

Sergei Stepanshin highly estimated the new building of Aquatics Palace and added that the World Cup 2015 and other competitions would be held on the highest level.

On the threshold of the 68th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War Sergei Stepanshin also visited the Victory Park and laid flowers to the Eternal Flame.
