Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuichenko

On May 15, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuichenko discussed issues of interaction of the federal department with the regional authorities.

Later on today, Chuichenko will take part in a ceremony of laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the Justice Quarter modern urban space in Kazan, where all the legal services that every resident of Tatarstan will be able to use will be concentrated. The regional department of the Ministry of Justice of Russia will be located there as well.

Chuichenko and Minnikhanov signed an agreement between the Ministry of Justice of Russia and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan on cooperation in the field of free legal aid at today’s meeting.

Moreover, Tatarstan President handed in the state award of Tatarstan - the medal  of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic to the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.
