On May 12, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Aleksandr Bastrykin arrived on a working visit in Kazan, and together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov visited Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital, where there were schoolchildren injured during the attack on the gymnasium 175 in Kazan.
Bastrykin asked about the condition of the child victims, talked to their relatives, answering their questions. He also assured that every effort will be made to clarify the causes of the tragedy.
Today, there are 20 children and three adults in hospitals.
