Rustam Minnikhanov meets Russian Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin

On May 6, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Russian Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the opening ceremony of the International Judo Competition "Grand Slam".

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of the development of the sports industry and the preparation and holding of sports events of the all-Russian and international levels in Kazan.

In particular, they discussed the preparation and holding of events of the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Kazan, a number of sports competitions during the 5th Summer Spartakiad of Russian Youth in 2021 and other competitions.

Tatarstan Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov took part in the meeting.
