Rustam Minnikhanov visits a new archive depository of Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography

On March 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Head of the State Archive-Keeping Committee of the republic Gulnara Gabdrakhmanova and Head of the Department of Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr) in Tatarstan Azat Zyabbarov visited the new central archive of Rosreestr, located in the village of Stolbishche, Laishevo region of the republic.

The archive is intended for paper storage of documents. The capacity of the new facility provides the indefinite storage of 33 to 65 million archival files - at least 1 billion A4 sheets.

Minnikhanov got acquainted with the modern working conditions of the storage facility and its technical equipment. The mobile shelving will be used to store documents. The design features allow them to be moved by whole modules on special rails. The documents will be stored in accordance with light, temperature and humidity and sanitary and hygienic requirements.

The possibility of placement in the new repository of archival funds of the republic is also under consideration. For this purpose, it is necessary to equip individual rooms with specialized storage facilities: ventilation, refrigerated cabinets for documents on a flammable nitro base and specialized racks for bobbins and cards.
