Tatarstan President meets Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin

On March 6, in Innopolis, on the eve of the “Personnel for the Future” workshop chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin.

Minnikhanov emphasized that the Nizhny Novgorod Region is a strategic partner of the republic, and one of the key areas of cooperation is the automotive industry. Tatarstan President also noted the great potential of interaction in mechanical engineering, chemical industry, energy and the mutual supply of various products.

In his turn, Nikitin said that Nizhny Novgorod enterprises are interested in expanding their cooperation in engineering, design and construction of high-speed passenger hydrofoils, development and implementation of electronics and radar products.

During the meeting, the Governor invited Minnikhanov to become an honored guest of the solemn events dedicated to the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod, and also offered to organize performances of Tatarstan culture and art workers in the Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
