Dmitry Chernyshenko and Rustam Minnikhanov visit the Aquatics Palace

On March 6, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Aquatics Palace and got acquainted with the infrastructure of the sports facility.

The FINA Aquatics Development Centre was presented at the Aquatics Palace. Facilities to be involved in the FINA 2025 World Aquatics Championship were presented to Chernyshenko. Kazan will again host the World Aquatics Championship in 2025. The tournament will return to the capital of Tatarstan 10 years after the 2015 championship.

Acting Rector of the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov informed about the university and development prospects.
