Tatarstan President meets senior executives of Tawazun Holding in Abu Dhabi

On February 21, during his working visit to Abu Dhabi (the United Arab Emirates), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with CEO of Tawazun Holding Tareq Abdul Raheem Al Hosani.  

The Tawazun is a strategic investment company founded in Abu Dhabi in 2007 and specialized in defense industry.

In 2019, at the IDEX international defense exhibition, an agreement that the Tawazun Fund will receive 36 per cent share in Aurus Company and will invest a total of 110 million US dollars in the company over the next three years was signed. The agreement also envisages that the Tawazun will become the general distributor of the Aurus model line in the Middle East and North Africa.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov informed the senior executives of the Tawazun about the investment potential of Tatarstan and the readiness for cooperation in the line of KAMAZ Automaker, Eidos-medicine and other areas.
