Tatarstan President and Head of Soyuzmultfilm the implementation of joint projects

On February 18, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Souyzmultfilm film studio Yuliana Slascheva discussed the implementation of joint projects.

In September 2020 in Almetyevsk, with the support of Tatneft Oil Company, an animation school together with Soyuzmultfilm film studio was opened. At the educational institution, children get acquainted with the basics of cartoon production and the possibilities of computer animation. The plans for this year are to launch the new educational courses, including online one. Earlier, the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects non-commercial organization and the Soyuzmultfilm agreed to create an animated series about sports and a healthy lifestyle.

During the meeting, Slashcheva introduced the concept of creation of an animation cluster based on production and professional resources of the Soyuzmultfilm.

She also proposed to organize of a large-scale Soyuzmultfilm festival in Kazan and Soyuzmultpark multimedia centre for family recreation in the region, where visitors of all ages will be offered various activities, namely master classes, creative laboratories, lectures, film screenings, entertainment programmes.
