Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan and X5 Retail Group Company have a long-standing partnership

On February 4, at the Kazan International Equestrian Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a conference dedicated to the expansion of cooperation between X5 Retail Group and Tatarstan producers.

Before the start of the conference, Minnikhanov and CEO of X5 Retail Group Igor Shekhterman looked around the exposition of Tatarstan suppliers. Enterprises producing food products and non-food products introduced their products.

Welcoming the conference participants and those who joined via video conference, Tatarstan President highly appreciated the level of cooperation between Tatarstan and X5 Retail Group.

During the conference, Shekhterman and CEO of the Pyaterochka retail chain Sergey Goncharov informed about market development trends and the strategies of X5 and Pyaterochka.

Local producers got acquainted with the company's approaches to assortment formation and the introduction of new positions, discussed the interaction in the production of goods under its own brand name, stimulating demand, customer-oriented marketing and requirements for food products.

A cooperation agreement between Tatarstan Government and X5 Retail Group was signed at the conference. The company will continue to open new stores in the region, providing jobs for residents, use Russian and Tatar in store navigation and actively interact with local manufacturers.
