Rustam Minnikhanov hands in the Order of Friendship to the chief conductor of the Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre Renat Salavatov

On February 1, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Order of Friendship to the chief conductor of the Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre Renat Salavatov.

The state award of the Russian Federation was awarded for "a great contribution to the development of Russian culture and art, many years of fruitful activity".

Tatarstan President emphasized that Salavatov is a prominent representative of the school of classical theatre art, for whom Tatarstan has become a second home. He wished the chief conductor success in his creative work and good health.

During the meeting, they also discussed issues of promoting the Tatar national opera and ballet repertoire on the world stage.

Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov , Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova and Director of the Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre Raufal Mukhametzyanov took part in the meeting.
