Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Spiritual and Educational Centre for Preschool Education at the St. Gurias Orthodox Gymnasium

On January 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Spiritual and Educational Centre for Preschool Education at the St. Gurias Orthodox Gymnasium.

This new three-story preschool facility is part of the gymnasium, which belongs to the Kazan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. The preschool facility is designed for 120 pupils. Upbringing and educational activities are carried out according to the Russian classical school programme of Ushinsky, who was a Russian teacher.

Minnikhanov looked around the gymnasium, the preschool classroom and the nursery, the gym and other premises. Director of the facility Archpriest Aleksey Chubakov accompanied Tatarstan President.

In addition to classrooms, the complex has a swimming pool, a salt therapy room, a gym and other facilities.

Minnikhanov got acquainted with the plans for the development of the preschool facility, assessed the quality of construction and finishing work, the equipment of the classrooms.

During the inspection of the building, Tatarstan President also talked to children, who attended the classes.

Metropolitan Kirill (Nakonechny), Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials accompanied Minnikhanov.
