Rustam Minnikhanov: "Ideas presented unveil the Tatarstan’s economy’s potential"

The 3rd venture fair has today opened in Kazan. The exhibition features many interesting developments revealing the Tatarstan’s economic potential, said the prime minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

Over 50 participants from 10 Russian cities presented their projects. “Tatarstan is the most promising region in Russia in terms of venture investment,” noted the Russian Association for Direct and Venture Investment Albina Nikkonen. “Companies represent their business increasingly better fair-to-fair. Tatarstan allows entrepreneurs develop their ideas.”

The key distinction of this year’s event is a preliminary examination of small and medium businesses applications and training for management and owners of the selected firms. The Tatarstan Venture Investment Fund, a state-run non-profit organisation, Director Renat Bilalov told Tatar-inform that over 160 applications had been sent in.

After the fair ends, a jury is to identify winners in the various nominations: Best Exhibitor, Best Marketing, Best Management, Success on the Russian Market, Success on Regional Market, High Business Potential and Unique Business Idea.
