Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the organization of school caterting in Naberezhnye Chelny

On December 14, during his working visit to Naberezhney Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Mullanur Vakhitov Gymnasium No. 2, where he got acquainted with the organization of the school catering.

This year, the gymnasium underwent a major overhaul. As many as 176 million roubles were allocated from the regional budget for the repair and purchase of equipment and furniture. Minnikhanov looked around classrooms, a gym, a wrestling hall, a primary school room. In total, 810 children are currently studying at the gymnasium.

As part of the overhaul, the school canteen was also renovated. The equipment was completely replaced in the canteen, the flour and vegetable shops were modernized.

Tatarstan President looked around the canteen and tasted some dishes from the school menu. At the end of his visit, Minnikhanov appreciated the quality of hot meals at the gymnasium.

In his message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed  to provide free hot meals for primary school students from September 1, 2020. In Naberezhnye Chelny, as many as 31.8 thousand schoolchildren are on the list.
