On December 4, schoolchildren who won competitions dedicated to the fight against corruption were awarded in the Kazan Kremlin. In total, 487 projects from different municipalities of Tatarstan were submitted to the competition, with 70 of them being declared winning projects in various nominations and age categories.

“You have made video clips, paper crafting, drawings, and posters. We see that the guys with their young creativity and enthusiasm approached this task well and managed to create, one might say, masterpieces of anti-corruption art,” Chief Adviser to the Department for Anti-Corruption Policies of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksander Lokhotskoy said.

Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Kamaltynov took part in the awarding ceremony. “Perhaps children are not yet fully aware of the important area they are working in, while performing these tasks, which they probably receive from their teachers. They are beginning to absorb how important it is for this evil (corruption) to be minimized, and ideally defeated,” he said.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Tatarstan Igor Savelyev noted in his speech that the projects of the participants were very interesting. He also suggested using new technologies - in particular, modern social networks to fight corruption.
