President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazan with a working visit. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Plenipotentiary of Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met head of the state at the international airport “Kazan”.

Vladimir Putin is going to inspect course of preparation for World Summer Universiade and visit several sports venues. He will also hold session of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport.
