On December 2, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov discussed the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan aimed at strengthening Russian-Uzbek relations, further ways of development trade and economic ties under the coronavirus pandemic, in particular, the increase in the volume and range of mutual supplies of goods and services. They also discussed issues of interaction in education, culture and tourism.
Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Head of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov and other officials took part in the meeting.
