On November 16, speaking at Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry at a meeting with entrepreneurs, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the efficient development of the republic and the country as a whole is inextricably linked with the development of small and medium-sized businesses. Tatarstan Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights - Aide to the President of the republic Farit Abdulganiev moderated the meeting.
Minnikhanov said that the coronavirus pandemic has made certain adjustments to life, and the Government of the country promptly implemented a whole range of support measures to reduce the negative consequences in the economy and social sphere. The Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan adopted the same measures in the shortest possible time. In general, the region is working systematically to promote small business. And, together, the support measures taken have proved to be timely and efficient, mitigating the negative economic impact of the pandemic.
He emphasized that the strategy for the development of e-commerce turned out to be timely in the republic.
Tatarstan President also said that total restrictive measures imposed had negative consequences for small and medium-sized businesses, but nevertheless business representatives need to strictly comply with the recommendations of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection.
The provision of new markets is now the most efficient support for Tatarstan entrepreneurs. Last year an agreement on launching logistics projects of leading federal marketers - Ozon, Wildberries, X5 Retail Group was reached.
In addition, in August an agreement of intent to implement a pilot project on the establishment of the first Russian simplified customs bond zone – based on the separate structural subdivision of Russian Post in Tatarstan was signed.
Then, entrepreneurs addressed their questions to Minnikhanov.
Executive Director of the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Kazan Galina Sharafutdinova raised the issue of measures to support public catering organizations. In particular, she proposed to resume the food delivery subsidy programme and consider such a topical issue as a tax deferral benefits.
A representative of the TRIS company (production of antiseptics with a high alcohol content in the composition - for hands and surfaces, for household and professional use) requested help to get on the shelves of federal retail chains.
There were many other questions addressed.
“We are committed to making business work - both large and small business. We are ready to give you the necessary support. We are open to work. We want entrepreneurs to feel the support of the authorities - both federal and regional,” Minnikhanov said at the meeting. Entrepreneurs - participants of the meeting offered to formulate wishes and concerns they face today in writing.
