Cooperation Agreement between the Government of Tatarstan and Advanced Research Foundation signed

On November 10, in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting on cooperation between Tatarstan and Advanced Research Foundation (ARF).

Advanced Research Foundation, established on October 12, 2012, is aimed at promoting scientific research and development for national defence and State security involving a high risk of achieving qualitatively new results in the military-technical, technological and socio-economic spheres, developing and creating innovative technologies and producing high-technology products for military, special and dual-use applications.

Participants of the meeting discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, namely, the interaction of  ARF with the Kazan National Research Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev - KAI and the Kazan National Research Technological University. They also discussed the development of ARF projects at Innopolis and Alabuga Special Economic Zone. One of the areas of cooperation can be joint work on strengthening and modernizing the energy system of Tatarstan.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Advanced Research Foundation Andrey Grigoriev signed the Cooperation Agreement between Tatarstan Government and Advanced Research Foundation.
