Rustam Minnikhanov meets Governor of Gilan Province (Iran) Arsalan Zare via videoconferencing

On October 27, at their meeting via videoconferencing Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Arsalan Zare discussed issues of further cooperation in trade and agro-industrial spheres.

Gilan province has the advantageous geo-economical location in Iran. The province has developed agriculture, some branches of industry, and has the largest Iranian port on the shores of the Caspian Sea.

It was noted during the meeting that Tatarstan and Gilan province can interact in such areas as the development of agriculture and the export of agricultural products from the Gilan province, the import of halal products from Tatarstan, the production of greenhouse products and fish farming in Tatarstan by companies from the Gilan province, the exchange of trade and economic delegations, cooperation between chambers of commerce and industry and industrial zones.
