Rustam Minnikhanov meets Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Sergey Anoprienko

On September 25, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia - Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Sergei Anoprienko discussed issues of the effective use of forest resources, the reproduction of forest, the strengthening of forestry facilities and the training of personnel for the forest industry.

In 2021, Tatarstan will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the first state forestry administration body of the republic and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Lubyansky Forestry College.

Anoprienko will take part in the Day of Forest Planting initiative in the Rybno-Slobodsky municipal region of the republic today.

At today's meeting, Minnikhanov handed in the state award of the republic - the medal "100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatar ASSR."
