Tatarstan President meets Russian Minister of Sport and Head of the Russian Football Union

On September 10, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Sport Oleg Matytsin and President of the Russian Football Union Alexander Dyukov discussed the development of physical culture and sport in the region, the implementation of the federal project “Sport - the norm of life” of Demography national project, development of modern sports infrastructure and involvement of the population in regular physical education.

Minnikhanov handed in medals “100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tatar ASSR” to Matytsin and Dyukov for their significant contribution to strengthening the socio-economic potential of Tatarstan. In his turn, Russian Minister of Sport handed over the Nikolai Ozerov Medal to Tatarstan President for special personal merits and achievements in physical culture and sports.

Tatarstan and Russian Ministry of Sport agreed to cooperate in the development of physical culture and sports.

Minnikhanov, Matytsin, Dyukov and Chairman of the Football Federation of Tatarstan Alexander Gusev signed a cooperation agreement on the development of football.
