Rustam Minnikhanov holds an online meeting with Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Aleksey Likhachev

On August 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had an online meeting with Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Aleksey Likhachev.

Minnikhanov congratulated Russian nuclear scientists on the 75th anniversary of the nuclear industry. “Your work in the field of national defense and in the field of peaceful nuclear energy deserves great respect,” he emphasized.

Tatarstan President said that the Rosatom is a strategic partner of the republic. The project is implemented in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, the Rosatom continues interaction with Innopolis IT-city.

Likhachev highly appreciated the cooperation with Tatarstan in a number of areas.

The meeting participants discussed a number of issues on the implementation of joint projects and interaction in the digital sphere.
