Rustam Minnikhanov hands in keys to new vehicles to Tatarstan foresters

On July 15, in front of the Kazan Family Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatarstan Minister of Forestry and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a solemn ceremony of handing in keys to new special vehicles.

Before the ceremony, Minnikhanov got acquainted with the condition of the forest complex of the republic, the development of the facilities and resources of institutions and Status of implementation of relevant tasks under the Forest Conservation in Tatarstan regional project of the Forest Conservation federal project of the Ecology national project.

Minnikhanov said that the conservation and reproduction of regional forests in one of the major tasks.

Tatarstan President emphasized the importance of training qualified personnel and maintaining the continuity of generations in the forestry industry. The republic also faces major tasks in reforestation.

Tatarstan Forestry Park was enriched by 112 units of forest patrol, fire fighting and forestry equipment, purchased from federal and regional budgets.
