On June 26, during his working visit to Kirov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Governor of Kirov region Igor Vasilyev visited the Children’s Space Centre and Znak microdistrict.
The Children's Space Centre, opened two years ago, is a regional centre for aerospace youth education in the Volga Federal District. It includes a modern digital planetarium, exposition halls of various topics, a training complex for astronauts. The main mission of the space centre is the moral and patriotic education of the younger generation.
At the Children's Space Centre Minnikhanov looked around a cosmonaut training center, a virtual reality hall, research space, as well as a planetarium, where the guests were shown a video about the capabilities of the space centre.
Then Minnikhanov got acquainted with new approaches in the field of housing construction, visiting the new urban Znak microdistrict. Modern architectural and design solutions are used during the construction of residential buildings. The houses are equipped with energy-saving technologies, allowing residents to save on utility bills. Moreover, social facilities, including schools and kindergartens, are also being built. Tatarstan President appreciated the development of housing infrastructure.
