Rustam Minnikhanov hands in keys to new ambulances to doctors

On June 20, in front of the building of the Regional Clinical Hospital, on the eve of the Health Worker Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys to the new ambulances to Tatarstan doctors

Earlier, in order to combat the spread of Covid-19, Russian Government allocated funds for the purchase of vehicles for the needs of the entities of the Russian Federation.

As many as 24 ambulances arrived in Tatarstan. Three ambulances have already been sent to Naberezhnye Chelny. Five more ambulances will arrive in the republic before the end of June.

Minnikhanov congratulated the doctors on the upcoming professional holiday. He emphasized health-care workers bore the main burden of care for patients with new coronavirus infection.

All vehicles are equipped with modern medical equipment of domestic production and are intended for emergency medical care, transportation and monitoring of patients' condition, conducting intensive therapy.

A mobile disinfection booth, which allows to process the clothes of the incoming in seconds was introduced to Minnikhanov. As soon as a person enters the cabin, a sensor activates, spraying steam from the disinfectant.
