On June 19, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met the new members of the candidate pool of Tatarstan President (Management Personnel Pool of Tatarstan).
Minnikhanov congratulated everyone who joined the candidate pool and said that the project has been implemented in the republic for 7 years. According to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the candidate pool is not just the selection of specialists, but the acquisition and improvement of the skills necessary for managers at any level.
Head of Civil Service Department and Staff under Tatarstan President Alexander Belov said that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the republic, the regional Management Personnel Pool has been formed annually since 2014. In the current year, the candidate pool was established taking into account the national projects outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In this regard, the selection process for the personnel pool focused on candidates, who could be involved in the implementation of these priority areas.
According to the results of the assessment procedures, 22 people were included in the personnel pool of Tatarstan President Every year, it includes more representatives of the real sector of the economy. For example, this year there are many representatives of industry (the KAMAZ Automaker, the Kazan Helicopter Plant), the banking sector (Ak Bars Bank, VTB bank).
For the past 3 years, the finalists of All-Russian Management Contest “Leaders of Russia” were included into the candidate pool (there are 7 people included this year).
All candidates were distributed among mentors from the leadership of Tatarstan.
During the year, mentors will interact with candidates – advise and discuss current issues.
Under the leadership of mentors, candidates will develop projects aimed at the socio-economic development of the republic. This year the projects will be focused on the implementation of federal national projects.
In addition to specialized training, all candidates will undergo training in government authorities or municipalities of the republic.
During the meeting with Minnikhanov, each of the 22 candidates briefed about himself and his plans.
Tatarstan President emphasized that today human resources are a major component of economic development. According to him, priority in the republic is given to the training of own staff.
We have to train our managers, not expect them to come to us and for that we need to build an appropriate structure, Minnikhanov said.
Tatarstan President also noted that it is important to develop skills and constantly learn something new. You never know where you are going to work in the future or what skills you are going to need, he said.
