Capital repair of educational, health and agricultural facilities continues in Tatarstan

On June 13, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin and all regions of the republic, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Aleksey Frolov reported on the implementation of capital repair programme in Tatarstan.

He said that it is planned to overhaul 1,064 apartment buildings with a total area of 6.5 million square meters in 41 municipal regions of the republic with the total funding amounting to 6 billion 658 million 58 thousand roubles.

Frolov also reported on the major repair of educational facilities. As of June 11, the work at 34 of 36 facilities is underway. The major repair of all three planned correctional schools is underway. The overhaul of preschool institutions is being carried out at 84 of 87 facilities. The repair at three facilities has been completed.

Overhaul of functional areas in secondary schools and correctional schools is carried out at 27 of 42 facilities.

The republic continues the implementation of capital repair programme of resource centres. The work at 15 of 17 facilities is underway.

As many as 21 of 22 sports facilities are being overhauled under a special programme.

The major repair of all 6 planned children’s recreation camps is also underway in Tatarstan.

In Tatarstan, a major repair programme for children's health camps is also underway - work is going on at all 6 planned facilities.

The facilities of youth clubs are strengthened – the capital repair at 16 of 17 facilities is underway.

It is planned to overhaul 37 cultural facilities and 8 healthcare facilities in the current year. The work at 7 cultural and 3 healthcare facilities has been completed.

As many as 127 grain stores, 158 cowsheds and 11 horse-breeding farms are planned to be overhauled under the capital repair programme.

It is scheduled to overhaul 66 machine and tractor fleets, 12 vegetable stores and 12 poultry farms.

Frolov also reported on the implementation of capital repair programme of youth clubs, Executives Committees (Councils) of municipalities, social services institutions and buildings of Municipal Archives of the republic.

Gasification Fund implements a number of programmes. Under the programme “Providing the population with water in the settlements of Tatarstan”, as many as 34.3 kilometers of water supply lines have already been constructed, four boreholes drilled and five water towers installed.

As many as 48 boilers at 27 facilities have been uninstalled under the replacement of boilers in boiler rooms of budgetary institutions of Tatarstan programme. Switching to individual heating systems, installing modular boiler houses in cities and regions of Tatarstan programme is being implemented.

As many as 32,4 kilometers of power lines mounted and 1359 lamps replaced according to the programme “Restoration of street lighting in the settlements of Tatarstan”.
